The Canon Aquilion Exceed LB removes every physical barrier to industrial CT access. With the world’s largest 90 cm gantry bore, a 70 cm standard field of view expandable to 90 cm with the eFOV option, and a low-profile 33 cm table height for simplified component loading, it is purpose-built for large industrial samples, oversized assemblies, and specialized research objects that exceed the physical limits of every other CT system on the market.

Oversized component & assembly inspection

The world’s largest 90 cm gantry bore and 70 cm standard FOV, expandable to 90 cm with the eFOV option, provide physical access to aerospace structures, large pressure vessels, turbine components, and industrial assemblies that exceed the bore limits of every other clinical or industrial CT system.

Oil & gas core analysis

Long whole-core and half-core reservoir samples from large-diameter drill cores are accommodated without sectioning, preserving sample integrity while enabling full-diameter petrophysical characterization, including porosity, fracture mapping, and fluid distribution imaging.

Radiation therapy & research phantom imaging

The Exceed LB’s wide bore and extended FOV support CT imaging of large research phantoms, radiation therapy planning objects, and experimental test articles that require full-diameter reconstruction, meeting the physical access requirements of national laboratory and university research programs.
