CLINICAL APPLICATIONS
What this system is built for
The Vet-MR Grande is designed for veterinary hospitals, specialist clinics, and university teaching hospitals that need a powerful, versatile in-house MRI capable of handling the full clinical spectrum, from routine small animal neurological studies through to large breed and large animal anatomy.
Neurological imaging
eXP technology delivers elevated soft tissue contrast and spatial resolution for neurocranium and spine imaging, covering cervical, thoracolumbar, and lumbosacral regions with the diagnostic quality needed to confidently identify disc extrusion, neoplasia, inflammatory disease, and vascular events in companion animals.
Orthopedic & joint imaging
A comprehensive selection of RF coils and dedicated anatomical protocols supports orthopedic MRI of the stifle, elbow, carpus, and small joints across a wide range of body sizes, from cats and small dogs through to large-breed dogs, with consistent image quality across examinations.
Large breed & large animal access
The wide opening design accommodates large-breed dogs and selected large animal anatomies with ease, making animal handling and positioning straightforward for staff while reducing patient stress and anesthesia time during the examination.
In-house MRI program development
A dedicated veterinary user interface, pre-programmed protocols, customizable sequence storage, and a compact, low-cost installation footprint make the Vet-MR Grande the ideal platform for practices building an in-house MRI program, combining clinical capability with operational efficiency and one of the strongest ROI profiles in veterinary MRI.
