In petroleum porous media research, Orimtech’s proprietary hardware and software solutions allow to maintain +/- 3 Hounsfield unit (this scale is also known as CT numbers) accuracy even under conditions of a titanium sample holder.
Characterization of gas and liquid, flowing through a porous media, is on the the most critical knowledge needed in the petroleum industry related science. Such experiments must be performed without a removal of a sample from a complex lab infrastructure. GENDAMIS is the choice for this geophysiucs application.
